I. Students will learn basic vocabulary, including numbers, weather and descriptions. Students will be able to read and write in Spanish. They will also be able to listen and understand, as well as speak in simple sentences of the present and some of the past tense. II. Test day will be EVEN days. (The 2nd, 4th, 6th etc. of each month) Quizzes can be given any day… usually with 1 or 2 days notice. III. My conference period is each day from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. Grading 25% = Daily grades and homework (13-15) 25% = Quizzes (6-8) 50% = Test (2) and Dramatization (1 or 2 – combined to equal 1 test grade) V.
